REASON FOR STOPPING THE UNLIMITED PLANS
For everything that happens, there must be a reason. So in this case, Airtel said that unlimited data packages were Promos and it has come to an end. They highlighted that the **Airtel Unlimited 10, 15 and 20* which goes for N10,000, N15,000 and
N20,000 was a promo and now it has come to an end. Airtel Unlimited 10 15 and 20 packages opens the gate of unlimited browsing, downloading, video streaming etc and even when you’ve exhausted your data, you will continue but at a throttled speed.
BUT THE DATA PLAN IS NOT TOTALLY SCRAPPED
The plan is still active but no more unlimited. In fact, when you dial the same code for unlimited 10, you will get 20GB to expire in exactly 30 days; and 15 will give you 40GB.
Unlike before, when you use up your data now, no more browsing. To check the data balance, simply dial *140# .
But those that already subscribed should be able to enjoy unlimited data until it expires before this new rule will be effective for them.
